CMMC Managed Services Consultant

• Help clients prepare for and maintain **CMMC compliance** • Review systems and identify compliance gaps • Create and maintain required documents (SSPs, POA&Ms, policies) • Monitor security controls and compliance evidence on an ongoing basis • Support remediation efforts and track progress • Prepare clients for CMMC assessments and audits • Explain CMMC requirements in clear, practical terms • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned managed services CMMC clients • Lead client meetings, executive briefings, and compliance status reviews • Provide practical, risk‑based recommendations balancing compliance, cost, and operational impact • Educate client stakeholders on CMMC responsibilities and best practices • Collaborate with security operations, cloud, and IT teams to implement compliant architectures • Assist with secure enclave, GCC High, or compliant cloud deployments where applicable • Track regulatory updates to CMMC, DFARS, and DoD guidance and advise clients accordingly

Job Requirements

  • Experience with **CMMC and/or NIST 800‑171**
  • Background in cybersecurity, compliance, or managed services
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work directly with clients
  • Microsoft or Technical certifications are a positive and should be noted, especially related to the core technology stack of M365
  • Real-world, hands-on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions utilizing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 within large complex environments.
  • CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) or Certified Assessor (CCA), CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar cybersecurity certifications
  • Experience supporting DoD contractors or federal compliance environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft GCC / GCC High or other compliant cloud platforms
