Senior Quality Engineer

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies; design and execute test cases based on high‑level requirements and use cases • Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for API, backend, and system‑level testing • Contribute to and help drive the QE strategy with a focus on scalability, performance, and long‑running system validation • Identify, document, and track defects, driving them to closure in partnership with engineering teams • Actively participate in design and architecture discussions, providing testability and quality feedback early • Embed quality early through shift‑left testing practices, design reviews, and use of modern testing tools • Validate system behaviour across large tenant volumes, high throughput, and long‑running scenarios • Represent the engineering team in customer discussions or onsite engagements, as required • Serve as a quality advocate, evangelizing the importance of product quality across teams • Act as a quality activity initiator and driver within feature teams • Partner closely with developers to improve test coverage, observability, and defect prevention • Quickly learn and understand complex systems and diagnose technical issues effectively • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and analytical skills • Prioritize work effectively, maintain focus, and drive tasks through to completion in a fast‑paced environment
Job Requirements
- 8–10 years of total work experience with strong hands‑on expertise in the SASE domain
- Solid understanding of cloud‑native architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Proven experience designing and driving automation‑first testing strategies and QE architecture
- Exposure to or hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted test automation tools is preferred
- Strong foundation in operating systems and network security concepts
- Prior hands‑on experience with networking technologies and protocols, including HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, proxy servers, and load balancers
- Hands‑on experience with performance and scalability testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or equivalent
- Understanding of multi‑platform environments, including UNIX/Linux, macOS, and Windows
- Familiarity with observability practices and tools, including logs, metrics, and distributed tracing
- Experience validating identity‑centric workflows, including integrations with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

• Test both apps on all supported devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch). • Create new issues on our project management platform. • Write test cases and testing-related documentation. • Coordination with the rest of the team to ensure both apps are properly tested. • Quality assurance and testing of our two apps.
