Senior Contract Administrator – Clinical Trials

Foundation

• Lead negotiation and execution of clinical trial agreements including CTA, CDA, MSA, and sub-site agreements • Partner with the Office of General Counsel to develop and finalize contract language • Negotiate clinical trial budgets, including per-patient costs, startup fees, and payment schedules • Review contracts and agreements to ensure alignment with institutional policies • Collaborate with sponsors to resolve budget, contract, and study-related issues • Develop contract budget exhibits and support financial planning for studies • Provide ongoing administrative support to Principal Investigators and research teams • Monitor study files to ensure compliance, quality, and consistency • Track key contract and budget metrics and support reporting and process improvements • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance clinical trial administration

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • J.D. strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in research administration, CRO, biotech/pharma, or healthcare industry
  • Strong experience with clinical trials and contract negotiation
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical research processes
  • Familiarity with GCP, FDA, HIPAA, and ICH guidelines preferred
  • Experience negotiating key contract terms such as indemnification, IP, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
