Intern, Program Administration – Support
National Council for Mental Wellbeing
• This team is hiring for two openings. Each position will support one or more projects, focused on different areas such as Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHCs), behavioral health workforce, or tobacco- and cancer-related disparities among individuals with mental health needs. • Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Meeting Coordination & Support: Coordinate scheduling meetings and events through Outlook for internal and external teams. Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including appropriate set-up for virtual meetings through Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Facilitate logistics and administrative needs during virtual meetings, such as screen sharing, breakout rooms, monitoring chat boxes, etc. Support meeting preparation and close out such as sharing agendas and meeting materials prior, as well as follow-up items after. • Technical Assistance: Support development of technical assistance activities and resources as assigned, such as virtual events or resource development. Support tracking and monitoring of technical assistance activities as assigned, such as tracking attendance, attendee satisfaction, and other metrics required for reporting. • Program Administration: Support data entry workflows, including entering candidate information into relevant tracking systems and ensuring records are accurate and up to date across platforms. Track milestone progress throughout the candidate onboarding cycle, maintaining internal dashboards or trackers and flagging outstanding items or discrepancies to the supervising team. Prepare, organize, and maintain internal finance-related documentation, including invoice tracking logs, purchase documentation, and budget-related records as assigned. • Other project tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Current student (completed at least two full-time years of undergraduate study) or a recent graduate (in the last six months) in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Demonstrated organizational, project, and time management skills, capable of completing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Experience in Zoom, Microsoft Office, and AI note-taking and summarizing preferred.
- Experience in public health, social work, health care administration, mental health and substance use services or related fields is desirable.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
