• Assesses the effectiveness of critical functions, including test planning, test case development, test execution, and test reporting. • Designs a systematic approach for detecting software defects and determining the severity and priority of identified issues. • Coaches the quality assurance team to enhance capabilities and reinforce standards in alignment with industry trends and software engineering practices. • Conducts most complex evaluations for the quality assurance team to assess the quality of software and applications. • Confers with test automation experts to help optimize the quality assurance processes within the software engineering department. • Delivers a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that outlines the roadmap, timelines, and standards for software projects. • Designs a monitoring system to track project progress and manage expectations to ensure alignment with engineering project goals. • Forecasts the resource requirements for quality assurance activities based on project scope, deadlines, and complexity. • Helps establish and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of the quality assurance initiatives for software projects.
Job Requirements
