Role Description The Therapist position is focused on providing holistic and evidence-based mental health and substance use disorder psychotherapy services for clients in their respective NAT-SU treatment program. The therapist is the primary decision-maker for their clients’ treatment and must work closely with other agency staff to monitor progress and make any adjustments needed to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes. - Conduct biopsychosocial mental health and substance use disorder assessments consisting of a face-to-face interview and the use of ASAM and other diagnostic instruments. - Develop and update client treatment plans consistent with the biopsychosocial assessment and the Medicine Wheel model of wellness. - If needed, obtain training (paid by facility) to become familiar with White Bison’s “Wellbriety” 12-step and other curricula and utilize them in facility services. - Utilize evidence-based practices (EBPs) for SUD treatment and co-occurring disorders. - Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, both in-person and via telehealth (Zoom, etc.). - Attend and participate fully in weekly staff meetings. - Actively seek opportunities to increase therapeutic expertise through continuing education. Qualifications - Master's degree in mental health field from an accredited college or university. - Hold or qualify for an LMFT, LCSW, LPC or CMHC, Psychologist or pre-licensed equivalent with no current restrictions. Licensure may be from any U.S. state at time of hire. Utah licensure should be obtained within one year of hire; NAT-SU will reimburse any fees associated with obtaining a Utah license to practice. - Minimum of two (2) years working with substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis preferred; however, equivalent training will be provided for the right candidate. Role Description Provide mental health services using a primary care behavioral health model as well as specialized mental health outpatient care. - Provides mental health counseling, diagnostic evaluation and assessment, and other services consistent with respective privileging status using an integrated primary care behavioral health model. - Services may be provided in various settings, including, but not limited to telehealth remote, in-clinic, and designated facilities. - Partial in-clinic services may be required. - Completes functional assessments to identify presenting problems, factors contributing to and factors that may alleviate or resolve presenting problems. - Plans and implements interventions in collaboration with the patient, family/caregivers, and healthcare providers, and follows up as appropriate. - Provides evaluation and diagnosis, targeted interventions, instruction, observation, and follow-up to patients and family/caregivers to assist in improving behavioral, emotional, thinking, learning, and social relationship functioning. - Maintains encounter notes for each patient contact and other clinical documentation relevant to patient care such as intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge notes. - Provides information and referral services for organizations, patients, and families/caregivers. - Collaborates with referral sources, other providers, and team members in providing person-centered and whole-person collaborative care. - If providing services in a contracted facility or alternate location, the provider will coordinate care with facility personnel to establish and maintain a professional relationship with assigned facilities. - This will include coordination and follow-up on referrals and other case management responsibilities. - Maintain productivity expectations that are established at the beginning of employment and reviewed periodically. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Must be a graduate of a Master's program in an accredited mental health-related field of study, such as counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or other fields of study accepted by the respective licensing board. - Active and unrestricted clinical social work, mental health counseling, or psychology-related license in state practices, such as LCSW, LSCSW, LPC, and LMFT. - Minimum of 2 years supervised experience in mental health or health care settings. - PC skills or applicable computer experience. - Ability to escort or transport patient by wheelchair or stretcher. - Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to read and understand insurance summary data. - Ability to work all shifts. - Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RCT Regional Supervisor to join our Care Management Team. In this leadership role, you will provide direct supervision, clinical oversight, and quality assurance for a localized, multi-disciplinary team supporting members with behavioral health conditions. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care across physical health, behavioral health, pharmacy, long-term services and supports (LTSS), and health-related resource needs. On a typical day, you might: - Provide direct supervision and clinical oversight for your assigned care management team. - Ensure proper execution of Tailored Care Management protocols, including outreach, assessments, whole-person integration, and transitions of care. - Monitor care management quality and compliance, taking corrective action as needed. - Coordinate team schedules to ensure continuous member support. - Oversee high-risk or complex cases, ensuring clinically sound decision-making and escalation when appropriate. Qualifications - Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience providing care management, case management, or care coordination to the MH/SU/BH population; OR - Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and three (3) years of experience providing care management, case management, or care coordination to the MH/SU/BH population. - Fully licensed in the State of North Carolina as one of the following: LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT, LCAS or RN.
