Role Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Seniors – Cloud Technologies | Fintech | Full Stack in Jacksonville, FL to analyze, design, program, and deliver secure, scalable, and compliant products within the finance domain. - Execute full-stack enterprise development using modern programming languages, including: - Front-end technologies: Angular, React - Back-end languages: Python, .NET, C++ - Analyze both relational and NoSQL data models. - Possess in-depth knowledge of financial systems, including: - Risk management - Governance - Transaction processing - Architect systems with considerations for: - Data sovereignty - Multi-region deployment - Regulatory compliance - Participate in software design meetings, analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements. - Collaborate with product managers and users to define system specifications and necessary modifications. - Design and deliver cloud-native solutions using: - Containerization - Serverless platforms - Distributed data pipelines - Hands-on experience in modern cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Firebase. - Translate business needs into technical specifications. - Lead cross-functional initiatives and provide training and product updates to stakeholders, including: - Client support - Professional services - Pre-sales teams Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related field. Requirements - Experience working within the financial services domain, specifically within Capital Markets technology, including: - Trading and Asset Services - Credit Lending - Credit Risk - Regulatory Compliance - Data Governance - Real-time transaction processing - Workflow engines including Flowable BPMN and Windows Workflow - Utilizing cloud and distributed systems design and experience with: - Multi-cloud architecture - High-availability solutions (including Redis, Azure Storage, Key Vault) - Infrastructure migration using tools including Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS) - Deploying and maintaining on-premise infrastructure, covering: - Database servers (SQL Server, Oracle) - Application servers (IIS, Tomcat) - Load-balanced environments - Network security—critical for clients with strict security and regional data compliance needs - Programming and software architecture skills, including: - Enterprise API development - Object-oriented programming including Python, .NET Core, C++, Angular, and React - Infrastructure as code - Microservices - Containerization - Cloud-native development - Executing data migration and API integration, using ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, FiveTran, Data Mart). - Implementing authentication protocols including Channel Secure, OAuth, and OpenID Connect to ensure secure and efficient data transfer between systems. - Certification in AWS public cloud platform required. Role Description We are looking for a motivated Cloud Operations Engineer to support our SaaS platform's infrastructure. Working as part of the CloudOps team, you will collaborate with Software Engineering to implement, automate, and maintain the AWS environments that power our software.
