Role Description As the Category Manager - Indirect (Supply Chain), you will own and evolve end-to-end sourcing strategies across freight and logistics categories, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive cost savings, service improvements, and risk-smart supplier relationships. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence the bottom line and shape how supply chain partners support the business. - Executes strategic sourcing strategies, best practices, and initiatives that support improvements in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, enhanced service levels, improved coordination, delivery, pricing, payment terms, risk compliance and other areas as identified. - Executes indirect procurement category sourcing strategies including the development and execution of RFXs, requirements gathering, development of supplier selection criteria, and supplier negotiations all in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Executes freight bids for ocean and air using TenderEasy. - Actively seeks ways to streamline business processes; researches and provides information on industry category trends and best practices; and leverages market tools and benchmarks to inform decision making. - Develops negotiation strategies, gains alignment from stakeholders, leads cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams, and implements appropriate supplier risk analysis. Directly negotiates with suppliers. - Uses spend data and business knowledge to identify sourcing projects for individual sub-categories and develops an overall multi-year plan. - Manages category performance by adhering to savings goals, business objectives, and supplier management. - Ability to forge close working relationships throughout the company and use influence and persuasion skills to drive results. - Prepares business cases, including ROI models and effectively presents cost savings proposals to appropriate parties for approval and qualification. - Ensures purchasing compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements (e.g., JSOX). - Advocates and adheres to global procurement policies and procedures. - Supports other indirect spend categories, including Professional Services, IT, and Facilities, to ensure continuity of Strategic Category Management activities when workload balancing is required. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. - Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum 8 years’ experience in Procurement or category management, preferably in multi-national company and across multiple categories of spend. - Track record in successfully managing all aspects of an indirect supply chain category. - Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, and provisions specific to supply chain agreements. - Solid knowledge of the logistics industry across all freight modes and supplier base. - Demonstrated sourcing experience developing and leading RFx’s and negotiating with suppliers. - Proficient in sourcing and category management concepts, practices, and procedures. - Proven critical thinking, analytics ability, and business acumen. - Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of business requirements and category ownership having created categories strategies with sound analytics. - Excellent understanding of contracts and contract management. - Track record for achieving savings that impact the bottom line. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and possess the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement environment. • Review rope attributes and technical specifications submitted via standardized forms and accurately identify the appropriate internal Part Number (PN) • Work closely with Field and Engineering stakeholders to identify suitable specifications, qualified suppliers, and establish approved PNs for future use • Support ongoing alignment between engineering specifications and sourcing strategies to ensure Otis service and safety standards are met • Drive standardization of rope requirements to approved PNs and suppliers to reduce variation and field-level pain points • Identify, evaluate, and select qualified rope suppliers based on total cost, quality, lead time, capacity, and risk • Allocate orders to the best total cost supplier, considering material cost, logistics, lead time, and supplier performance • Identify opportunities to transition field demand to approved suppliers and preferred sourcing pathways • Realize category savings for rope commodities through sourcing strategies, supplier consolidation, and specification optimization • Seek, negotiate, and execute supply agreements to support dedicated spend with managed suppliers • Manage end-to-end order execution for rope commodities, from sourcing through delivery to the customer • Prepare purchase orders (POs) for non-Otis rope materials sourced from domestic and international suppliers in compliance with Otis Terms and Conditions • Ensure supplier PO and price confirmations; apply negotiating techniques to secure the supplier’s best offer • Manage logistics to ensure on-time delivery, proper inventory levels, and service performance metrics • Perform timely escalation of supply, quality, pricing, or delivery issues and drive resolution • Execute defined centralized sourcing processes in coordination with Field Operations, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders, supported by clearly documented standard operating procedures • Work with Field teams to understand application requirements and identify opportunities to shift demand to approved rope suppliers • Partner with Engineering to evaluate alternate suppliers and technical solutions for ropes not currently lined up • Drive toward the goal of 100% rope spend under management through centralization or purchasing pathway controls • Integrate spend data, field feedback, supplier performance, and delivery metrics into commodity strategies and roadmaps • Analyze and forecast demand to determine stock vs. catalog opportunities • Identify opportunities to expand and maintain rope offerings within the Field Requisition System (FRS) • Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders • Resolve material rejections • Manage price increases • Identify cost savings opportunities • Resolve invoicing issues

• Serve as the central integrator for the Capacity Growth Office Supply Chain organization, driving business rhythm, data collection, and cross‑functional alignment. • Act as a highly external‑facing role, engaging frequently with suppliers and preparing materials for the Department of War • Support supplier strategy, resiliency planning, and coordination across engineering, programs, supply chain, and finance. • Establish and manage the Supply Chain CGO operating cadence, including weekly updates, cross‑functional reviews, and data consolidation. • Prepare and deliver presentations for senior leadership, the customer, and suppliers • Coordinate supplier‑related activities, aligning internal teams to support capacity expansion and resiliency efforts.

Role Description Project manage daily operations of one or more supply chain projects and coordinate product selection, deliveries, and subcontractor installations with internal SourceBlue teams. - Participate in discussions with SourceBlue and Turner Business Unit (BU) Business Development (BD) teams and project leadership about client prospects to secure SourceBlue (SB) business opportunities. - Support technical sales effort for BU Business Development/Pre-Construction (e.g., client presentations, reviewing packages, package estimates, scheduling). - Partner with SB Preconstruction teams to assess logistics for estimating products. - Maintain compliance with purchasing and risk management policies and procedures. - Develop project-specific scopes of work for product vendors and review with SB National Supply Chain team. - Develop bid packages and issue to vendors. Analyze vendor bids against contract requirements and prepare bid analysis spreadsheets for project team review. - Solicit vendor product pricing for project estimates and budgeting. - Assess vendor contract terms on specified packages, coordinate review by Supply Chain Business Manager and National SB Supply Chain team, close bid process, and communicate awards to vendors. - Coordinate vendor packages with project team and subcontractors to convey full scope of equipment procured. - Solicit, develop, draft, and route vendor purchase orders. - Create, update and maintain purchasing and submittal logs. - Manage vendor submittals, factory testing, delivery of products, start-up of equipment, equipment training for owners’ staff, warrantees, and record documents for purchased equipment. - Manage budget and financial reporting for each project; interpret and analyze reports for adherence to project budget, escalate findings as appropriate. - Manage project and vendor payment application process and track receivables. - Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Minimum of 8 years of commercial construction experience required. - Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field desired, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. - Expertise in electrical, mechanical, or finished product technical knowledge. - Experience in commercial construction industry and knowledge of regional market, competition, and industry trends. - Negotiation and interpersonal relationship building skills with ability to influence and engage others. - Knowledgeable of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, general contract and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, and familiar with accounting and cost control procedures. - Project management skills, able to manage high volumes of work and ability to move projects forward in complex environment and in timely manner. - Advanced presentation and delivery skills, anticipate needs of audience, and tailor communications appropriately. - Process and critical thinking skills with sound judgement decision-making. - Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office suite of applications and collaborative tools. - Regular travel.
