• Write, review, and ship production code — this is a hands-on role and will stay that way as the team grows • Architect features across the full stack, primarily in TypeScript, alongside Ruby components • Partner with product and design to translate supplier pain points into scalable solutions • Help grow the Mexico pod: contribute to hiring, onboarding, and shaping team culture from day one • Champion a high-velocity delivery culture — small iterations, continuous deployment, regular releases • Drive data-informed decisions: instrument features, interpret results, guide what gets built next • Leverage AI-powered development tools actively — we're aggressive adopters, and we expect our engineers to be too

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping enterprise software at scale, with strong full-stack expertise and deep proficiency in TypeScript
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks, along with hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools (including Claude Code)
  • Familiarity with multiple architectural approaches, including monoliths, microservices, and micro-frontends
  • Solid grounding in agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps culture
  • Proven track record of raising engineering standards through code reviews, mentorship, and leading by example, plus experience contributing to hiring and team-building
  • Strong communication skills across distributed, cross-cultural teams, a comfort with ambiguity, a bias toward action, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
