Cloud Engineer
GFT Technologies
• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions using AWS services. • Work with distributed data architecture, focusing on data democratization (Data Mesh). • Develop robust data pipelines in Python and integrate with various sources and destinations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. • Build and monitor observability solutions using Datadog (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards). • Contribute to best practices in version control (Git/GitHub), testing, and automation.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (such as SQS, S3, SNS, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Glue Data Catalog, Athena, QuickSight, RDS (Aurora), IAM, Secrets Manager, Step Functions, Batch, EC2, CloudWatch, KMS, CodePipeline, EMR);
- Medallion architecture and data pipeline design;
- Hands-on experience with data democratization (Data Mesh);
- Solid knowledge and experience with Python and Spark;
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
- Knowledge of Git (GitHub);
- Familiarity with observability tools, especially Datadog, is essential;
- Desirable: Data Mesh, Angular, Java, Kafka, Docker;
- Some experience with agile methodologies;
- Knowledge in applying Data Quality practices.
