Role Description As an Instructor at Simplilearn, you will play a key role in shaping the future of aspiring Artificial Intelligence professionals. Specifically, you will deliver content from our Applied AI Program, designed to help learners master the practical applications of AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies across industries. In this role, you will: - Conduct live online sessions, guide learners through hands-on projects and capstone assignments, and mentor them on applying AI techniques to solve real-world problems. - Engage with learners through interactive discussions, case studies, and demonstrations covering topics such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and generative AI. - Help bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and industry implementation, empowering professionals to design, train, and deploy AI-driven solutions effectively. This is a part-time, remote role. All sessions are conducted live online in an interactive, instructor-led format. Qualifications - 7+ years of industry experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science, with hands-on expertise in building and deploying AI models. - A strong understanding of core AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, LLMs), and modern frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. - Proficiency in Python and experience with data handling libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib. - Practical experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision, including use of pre-trained models and transfer learning techniques. - Familiarity with Generative AI models such as GPT, BERT, Stable Diffusion, and techniques like Transformers, RLHF, RAG, and prompt engineering. - A strong applied background in using AI for business or research applications—experience in implementing or fine-tuning generative or predictive models is highly valued. - (Preferred) Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience in an academic or corporate environment. - (Preferred) Advanced degrees such as MTech/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or relevant certifications in Data Science/AI. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex AI topics for diverse learners. - A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and generative technologies. Requirements - Create a positive, professional and inclusive learning environment by: - Teaching select lessons in accordance with learning objectives and fidelity to session plans provided by Simplilearn. - Employing strategies known to meet the needs of adult learners, including leveraging tech tools, instructional best practices and connecting content to the real world by sharing industry insights and professional experiences. - Managing regular communication with students to align on progress, expectations, celebrate milestones and address concern areas. - Providing individualized student support during synchronous class sessions and outside class synchronously during office hours and asynchronously through timely communication. - Evaluate student performance and progression toward competencies based on course deliverables and course rubrics by: - Providing constructive and timely feedback to students in the cohort. - Assisting in the management of Performance Action Plans for individual students who need additional support. - Serve as a role model for students and as an ambassador for our brand by: - Exhibiting professionalism and an ethical and empathetic approach when engaging with Simplilearn staff, students, and the public. - Promoting student retention and amplifying student satisfaction by creating a positive classroom culture for the Learning Team, communicating timely with students and leveraging effective interventions and sharing of resources. - Encouraging teamwork and seeking feedback for continuous improvement. Benefits - The expected compensation for this role is $50 per hour for candidates who fulfill the qualifications listed. - Part-Time Instructors are hourly, non-exempt employees and will be compensated for all time worked. - Part-time Instructors can expect to work approximately 8-10 hours per week and should not exceed expected hours without manager approval. - The expected compensation for this role for candidates is $55 per hour for candidates who fulfill the qualifications for the role.

The selected contractor will deliver high-quality diagnostic interpretations across multiple imaging modalities while adhering to the standards set by the American College of Radiology and all VA regulatory and credentialing requirements.
