• Analyzing, identifying, and owning operational initiatives and ensuring efforts are focused on business critical, business improvement, and financially beneficial activities • Collecting all operational initiatives based on the input of leadership and determining the prioritization of initiatives • Creating succinct business requirements for our reporting applications and analytic teams • Creating ad-hoc financial and operational reports as-needed • Providing executive-level status updates • Performing requirements elicitation for analytics and reporting initiatives supporting RCM performance, client (internal & external) reporting, and operational decision-making • Translating healthcare business needs into clear and well-structured functional and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Hypothesizing and developing analytical approaches for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets • Identifying and recommending opportunities for data modeling optimization • Developing reports, dashboards and visualizations to help key stakeholders understand and manage business performance • Curating report portfolio/presentations for RCM operations leaders and client stakeholders regarding findings and insights • Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across recurring and ad hoc reporting • Proactively identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies related to data, workflows, or compliance • Managing stakeholder expectations and delivering high-quality reporting and analytics within established timeframes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, preferably supporting healthcare or revenue cycle functions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to operational and executive audiences
- Proficiency in: Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and data analysis
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and translating data into actionable insights
- Strong analytical, data visualization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Effective at identifying and solving data or process issues

Role Description The Business Analyst I is primarily responsible for query and reporting across internal and external data sources to support program management and provide business value. The analyst assists in researching and analyzing program data to assess impact and efficiency, identify gaps in program performance, and support data-driven recommendations for process and program improvements.
