Role Description The Economist will work closely with client stakeholders, program analysts, and technical teams to play a critical role in analyzing economic data, market trends, and financial information to support project initiatives. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, a deep understanding of economics, and the ability to provide actionable insights that drive federal rule making. This requires the ability to analyze complex industry data, support the development of workflows and dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making. All work is performed within client-approved secure environments in accordance with federal data security and privacy requirements. Role Description A Jeppesen ForeFlight Aircraft Data Analyst collects, analyzes, evaluates and models aircraft data (performance, weight & balance, runway). A person in this role uses various techniques and tools to capture aircraft data from approved sources and creates numerical models which are applied within ForeFlight to provide accurate flight planning, runway performance, and weight & balance results. Great emphasis is placed on the ability to self-check one’s work and multiple quality assurance steps are performed in the process. High quality, accurate and timely work are expected while working on multiple tasks.
