• Design, build, and deploy robust data platforms, including data lakehouses and warehouses, and automate their operation using tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, and CloudFormation • Implement and optimize advanced ETL/ELT data pipelines and orchestrate complex data jobs using platforms like Databricks notebooks and dbt • Design and maintain data models, potentially utilizing data virtualization tools like Cube • Leverage managed and serverless cloud offerings to create performant and scalable cloud-native application solutions and data pipelines • Apply best practices for data security and ensure compliance with governance requirements • Build high-performance data pipelines and integrate with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, and Power BI • Provide leadership in applying software development best practices, including CI/CD and managing Infrastructure as Code

• Design and implement high-performance data processing and serving patterns across large-scale healthcare datasets using Spark, Python, Rust, and SQL. • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives, balancing trade-offs across scalability, reliability, performance, cost, and delivery speed. • Build and maintain robust data quality, validation, observability, lineage, monitoring, and alerting frameworks. • Architect scalable Healthcare Map data products that power APIs, analytics, internal tooling, and customer-facing applications. • Partner with Product, Data Science, and Platform teams to translate healthcare use cases into scalable technical solutions. • Drive engineering excellence across system design, code quality, testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices. • Mentor engineers through design reviews, technical coaching, and architectural guidance.

• Ensure that the appropriate telemetry in all public and private clouds is appropriate to meet cybersecurity use cases. • Ensure that the appropriate data normalization, aggregation, and context is provided to meet cybersecurity detection, threat hunt, incident response, governance, and compliance functions. • Knowledge about log collection and routing for AWS and Azure cloud environments, including data plane and control plane logs and ability to design data logging and routing architectures.
