Tech Leader – GRC, Information Security Risks and Controls

• Lead and develop the Information Security Risk team: set goals, prioritize work, establish rituals, act as the technical reference and promote career development. • Develop and execute control effectiveness tests, manage evidence and ensure that implemented controls effectively mitigate identified risks. • Manage supplier and third-party risks (TPRM) and conduct risk assessments of clients and partners, ensuring security and compliance requirements are met. • Design and evolve the Risk Management Program, including methodology, criteria, treatment plans and executive-level tracking. • Implement and monitor indicators (KPIs/KRIs) and produce reports to support executive decision-making. • Lead the identification, assessment and treatment of risks, ensuring traceability, evidence and follow-up. • Define and maintain the security controls framework, ensuring effectiveness, managing exceptions and action plans. • Perform maturity and gap assessments of security controls and report findings to leadership. • Establish processes for managing exceptions and risk acceptances with proper governance and periodic reviews. • Map and manage risks related to the company's use of Artificial Intelligence, overseeing governance and incident prevention. • Serve as a consultative reference for Product, Engineering, Cloud, Compliance and Legal teams, promoting security by design and risk mitigation. • Foster a culture of risk and governance, ensuring clear communication to support decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience leading teams or projects in Information Security Governance, with a focus on risks and controls.
  • Solid experience in people management and development (formal or informal), including mentoring, conducting 1:1s and providing development follow-up.
  • Experience designing control effectiveness tests, managing evidence and ensuring risk mitigation.
  • Strong background in risk management, including defining methodology, maintaining records, treatment plans and indicators (KRIs).
  • Ability to align governance and risk with business objectives, communicating risks clearly and persuasively to executives and technical teams.
  • Experience in supplier and third-party risk management (TPRM): due diligence, criticality assessment and monitoring of contractual requirements.
  • Practical mastery of frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF and CIS Controls.
  • Technical writing and documentation skills to report risks clearly to executives and technical areas.
  • Solid experience in technology companies focused on digital products (fintechs or financial institutions is a plus).
