Job Description

Senior Product Manager – Integration Platform

ezCater

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for ezCater’s Integration Platform with one overriding objective: dramatically compress the time it takes to build, launch, and scale integrations with any third party. • Design and deliver core platform capabilities—reusable connector framework, integration modeling, event-driven messaging, business-process orchestration, failure handling, reconciliation, credential management, and observability—so that product teams can stand up new integrations in days or weeks instead of months. • Prioritize the corporate-customer integration surface (procurement, expense management, HRIS/SCIM, SSO, analytics delivery) as the highest-impact acceleration target, directly enabling faster enterprise sales cycles and onboarding. • Define and build the business-process orchestration layer: a platform capability that composes individual integrations into cross-domain workflows (e.g., corporate customer onboarding that coordinates roster sync, policy setup, procurement connection, and SSO provisioning as a single managed process with visibility into state, progress, and failures at every step). • Create a commercial-grade developer experience—integration catalog, developer documentation, self-service onboarding, sandbox environments, and API reference—that lets both internal teams and external partners integrate with minimal hand-holding. • Build an operational UI for integration health monitoring, issue tracking, alerting, and escalation, giving operations teams real-time visibility and reducing mean-time-to-resolution across all active integrations. • Establish a library of configurable, composable connectors and data-mapping templates that eliminate repetitive engineering work and turn each new integration into a configuration exercise rather than a development project. • Partner closely with the corporate-customer, supplier, and delivery product teams to understand their integration backlogs and ensure the platform directly unblocks their highest-priority partner requests. • Drive the migration of existing integrations from ezRails onto Nova, prioritizing based on business impact and using each migration as an opportunity to prove and refine the platform’s acceleration capabilities. • Own and obsess over time-to-integrate as the platform’s north-star metric, alongside integration reliability, platform adoption, and partner satisfaction. • Tell a compelling story using research and data to evangelize the roadmap internally and with key partners, making the case that integration velocity is ezCater’s competitive edge. • Travel to Boston quarterly for planning and business reviews. • Have fun building impactful platform infrastructure with awesome people.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful experience in platform, infrastructure, or developer-tools products.
  • Track record building integration platforms, API platforms, iPaaS, or middleware products—you understand connectors, event-driven architecture, and data mapping at a deep level.
  • Experience designing and implementing platform services that are consumed by multiple internal product teams (platform-as-a-product mindset).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns: REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, message queues, ETL/ELT, OAuth/SAML, and data reconciliation. Experience with workflow orchestration engines or business-process automation (e.g., step functions, saga patterns, BPMN) is highly valued.
  • Deep analytic ability, comfort working with and manipulating data, building hypotheses to inform innovative solutions.
  • Experience working in marketplace or multi-sided-platform businesses is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software ecosystems (procurement, expense management, HRIS, POS) is a strong plus.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; you’re happy spending much of your day collaborating with team members in different functional areas.
  • Experience with migration programs (monolith-to-microservices, platform re-architecture).
  • Background in B2B or enterprise SaaS integration strategy.
  • Experience building or managing developer portals and external API programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for Together Weeks, team gatherings and other events, when applicable.

Benefits

  • Market competitive salary
  • stock options
  • 12 paid holidays
  • flexible PTO
  • 401K with ezCater match
  • health/dental/FSA
  • long-term disability insurance
  • mental health and family planning resources
  • remote-hybrid work from our awesome Boston office OR your home OR a mixture of both home and office
  • employee meal program (and many more goodies) when you’re in our office
