Qualifications - Technical Background: 1–3+ years of experience with LMR (Land Mobile Radio) or VHF/UHF systems. Solid understanding of basic RF principles. - Hardware Familiarity: Experience with or a strong desire to learn the programming and hardware architectures of Motorola, Tait, and Kenwood systems. - Site Experience: Comfortable working on large-scale construction sites and coordinating with other trades/on-site personnel. - Travel Ready: Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time for multi-state project assignments. - Physical Stamina: Ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces (like vehicle dashboards or equipment closets), and outdoors in varying weather. - Licensing: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. You will be the technical lead on major construction sites, managing complex installations from fixed-site repeaters to high-end vehicle fleet integration. Qualifications - 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with LMR/VHF/UHF systems. - Proficiency with RF tools (wattmeters, service monitors, spectrum analyzers). - Direct experience with Motorola, Tait, or Kenwood programming and hardware. - Proven ability to navigate and supervise work within active, large-scale construction environments. - Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time for out-of-state project assignments. - Comfortable working on ladders, in crawl spaces, and in various weather conditions common to construction sites. - A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are mandatory. (FCC GROL or CET certification is a major plus).
