About the role Kerry's Applied Health and Nutrition business delivers a broad portfolio of advanced technologies across Proactive Health technologies, Food Protection and Preservation, Enzymes, Yeasts, Flavors, Emulsifiers, and Stabilizers. Reporting directly to the Commercial Lead for NAMER, the Account Manager will play a critical role in executing Kerry's Pet Nutrition strategy and driving profitable growth across a defined territory. This role is responsible for managing existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and expanding Kerry's market share within the North America region. This position is open to candidates located anywhere within the United States and can be performed remotely, with regular travel required across the NAMER region. Key responsibilities - Own all sales activities for Kerry's Pet Nutrition portfolio with both existing and prospective customers within the defined territory. - Manage and grow Kerry's pet nutrition market share by working directly with leading pet industry customers and strategic distribution partners.Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline across all technologies Kerry brings to the pet market. - Support and close new business opportunities through bespoke solutions, branded products, and integrated solution selling to deliver profitable growth.Strengthen Kerry's presence and brand awareness in the NAMER pet nutrition market by Developing strong customer alliances and promoting Kerry's capabilities across categories such as Proactive Health and Food Protection & Preservation. - Participating in key industry events including tradeshows, seminars, and conferences. - Acting as a strong ambassador for Kerry both internally and externally. - Develop strategic relationships across customer organizations, including NPD, Purchasing, Supply Chain, QA, and Nutrition, while fostering strong internal partnerships within Kerry.Collaborate regularly with internal team members to review progress, share insights, and identify new opportunities for business improvement. Qualifications and skills - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or account management role, preferably with exposure to the pet nutrition or broader pet industry at a NAMER level. - Proven track record of driving growth, winning new business, and defending existing accounts. - Highly driven, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial with a strong strategic mindset. - Demonstrated passion for the pet category, with a strong interest in nutrition, wellness, and ingredient technologies. - Experience working within a matrixed organization and influencing outcomes through indirect teams and multiple stakeholders. - Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally within a complex organizational structure. - Deep understanding of the pet food, treat, and supplement categories, with strong industry knowledge and an established network of contacts preferred. - Knowledge of direct-to-retail channels is desirable but not essential. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively within NAMER, with regular customer-facing engagement required. The pay range for this position is $88,100 - $163,700 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and location. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, managing policy renewals, and supporting growth by partnering with Community Business Advisors.
