Title: Regional Consultant Location: California remote type Fully Remote locations Remote time type Full time job requisition id Req-003801 Job Description: The Job/What You’ll Do: As a Regional Consultant at AssetMark, the leading provider of investment solutions for independent financial planners, you will lead a sales team within your designated territory to demonstrate how AssetMark differentiates its products and services in a competitive marketplace. You will collaborate directly with financial advisors to expand the distribution of AssetMark's platform offerings tailored to their needs. The total compensation for this role includes base plus a competitive sales incentive plan target as detailed below. Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $100,000-$125,000. This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annualized Sales Incentive Plan target of up to $275,000. Achievement of the Sales Incentive Plan target will be based on performance against clearly stated goals and metrics, with the opportunity to exceed target earnings through overachievement of established objectives/goals. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in the Northern California market. Responsibilities: - Travel to advisor’s offices and advisor attended industry events to effectively present AssetMark’s value proposition - Provide support to advisors with large client presentations as needed - Work with the new advisor to establish agreements with AssetMark and assist with transferring their book of business to the AssetMark platform - Identify individual objectives, circumstances, and needs of the advisor’s business and their client base, and work with the advisor to evaluate potential solutions - Educate, advise, and consult prospective advisors on our wealth management platform, investment practice management, and client relationship offerings Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to foster a cohesive and supportive team environment - Ability to adapt quickly and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment - Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently - Experience evaluating managed money platforms - Proven experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM tools to effectively manage territory and pipeline - Educate, advise, and consult prospective advisors on our wealth management platform, investment practice management, and client relationship offerings Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in a business or finance field - 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry - 5+ years of in-person consultative sales experience - Active FINRA licenses: Series 6, 63, and 65, and/or Series 7 and 66 are required Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
