Senior Data Engineer

Social Discovery Group

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (Airflow, Airbyte, DBT, Snowflake) • Implement Medallion architecture (bronze / silver / gold layers) • Develop reliable ETL/ELT processes and integrate data from multiple sources (SQL/noSQL/APIs) • Improve data modeling practices and overall data quality • Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues • Collaborate closely with analysts and business teams to turn data into insights

Job Requirements

  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Hands-on experience with DBT (models, macros, tests, snapshots)
  • Solid knowledge of Snowflake
  • Experience building data warehouses and pipelines
  • Understanding of data modeling (star / snowflake schemas)

Role Description Splash Financial is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Engineer to design and implement a scalable, reliable, and high-performance data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing data models, architecting robust big data systems, and ensuring scalability and fault tolerance across our data ecosystem.
