Medical Science Liaison

MAIN REPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES - Utilizes the medical resources and expertise to develop and enhance KOL management across. He / she should provide the best use of information, research results and medical updates to customers as well as internal; stakeholders to ensure Pfizer activities are well-supported by the substantiated scientific evidence. - Develop and communicate customer insights based on medical to medical interactions with HCPs in the respective markets, with 100 % time allocation for customer facing medical interactions. - Develop and implement the Medical Strategy to support patient programs and initiatives across region, in alignment with the marketing and Business strategy to "Put Patient First". - Design, develop and execute Medical Awareness & Educational programs needed for HCPs (including Nurses) involved in Pfizer Patient programs. - Prepare and compile medical resources / Products' Scientific data/Clinical articles/Publications /Studies/Journals/Slide-kits and Presentations, to be used according to local SOPs - Identify Disease area/Customers' Medical needs and exchange inputs - KOL Management: Participate and develop Key Opinion Leader's (KOL's) & Health Authorities partnership programs in coordination with the Marketing group. - Prepare and conduct medical training sessions for the field force in case of new Product Launch. - Develop effective relationships and partnership platforms with key influencers, external organizations, health authorities, patient associations and third parties to drive and maximize the outcomes of patient programs in countries. - Lead the process of Data Generation to identify patients' needs and management of diseases. - Design and execute Advisory Boards for respective therapeutic areas. - Co-ordinate and utilize specialist knowledge with colleagues in formulating and implementing medical strategy - Answer medical questions concerning patient programs in ELI region . - Provide medical training and education to internal and external staff on disease areas under his responsibility, policies, regulations and other areas to engage teams and enhance the internal and external capabilities to conduct and manage Patient Programs. - Review and approve Pfizer meetings, materials and grants based on merits and scientific content. He/she provides the needed FCPA reviews and supports the teams with necessary advices and trainings. - Coordinate and align with Legal, Medical Compliance, Regulatory, Commercial, PA and other internal functions to ensure compliance to SOPs and local regulations in all promotional and patient activities and materials.
