Engineering Analysis Project Manager

• The Engineering Analysis Project Manager is accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering analysis efforts across multiple technical domains, with primary emphasis on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Co-Simulation workflows, and Power Systems Studies (PSS/SKM). • This person will work as part of the project team and interact closely with the owner, designers, contractors, subcontractors and other trades on projects in mission critical environments. • This role serves as the central coordination point between analysis teams, design teams, project managers, and clients to ensure analysis scopes are clearly defined, schedules are met, deliverables are consistent, and financial performance is tracked. • The role will include managing the analysis and design phases of projects including leading and representing DLB in client meetings, coordinating with internal and external members, and general project overhead tasks. • The Engineering Analysis Project Manager will receive limited direction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments. • Will execute and assist project leadership on projects of complex scope. • Will work independently or under limited supervision. • The Engineering Analysis Project Manager will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
Job Requirements
- B.A. / B.S. degree in engineering, construction or related discipline OR Two years of additional experience in related field in lieu of degree
- Minimum of five years of experience in related field
- Technical aptitude sufficient to understand and manage CFD, hydraulic analysis, power systems, and related analysis workflows
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders concurrently is critical
- Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts quickly and ask the right questions
- Experience coordinating technical teams, schedules, and deliverables
- Knowledge of data center industry trends, project management and design procedures and best practices
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources
- Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management
- Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Skilled at managing personnel and material resources
- Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others
- Ability to follow company and site safety requirements
- Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information)
- Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary point of client contact
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with onsite and remote team members
- Ability to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues
