Director, Infrastructure, Network and Telecommunication Services

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise infrastructure by managing 24/7 support and optimization, defining architecture and standards, establishing policies and priorities, and driving the development and implementation of IT best practices. • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and evolution of network hardware, servers, desktops, and operating systems while managing WAN/LAN performance, security, and availability. • Ensure proactive system upkeep through alerts, tuning, updates, and patches; maintain compliance and security via monitoring and risk assessments; and implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and issue resolution processes. • Manage technology projects by overseeing upgrades and new implementations, reviewing proposed changes for compliance with standards, and coordinating procurement processes to ensure timely renewals and vendor compliance. • Collaborate with vendors and partners to deliver solutions and provide regular progress reports to management. • Supervise systems administration, , and telecommunications teams to ensure effective operations and service levels, while fostering strong relationships with business areas through responsive communication and support. • Promote continuous improvement of IT skills and processes and maintain a safe working environment at all times. • Manage the creation and updates of technical and user documentation, oversee user training on systems and processes, and promote system adoption across business areas while serving as a trusted advisor for technology solutions. • Manage system changes by adhering to change management processes, performing impact analyses, and communicating updates to stakeholders. • Conduct periodic risk assessments and disaster recovery testing to ensure system resilience. • Support Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Safety Management Systems (SMS) process by ensuring staff follows safety and security policies, considers safety in every action, and ensures safety and security concerns are reported.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited four-year college or university. Related experience may substitute on a year for year basis for educational requirements.
  • Ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in information technology and network engineering
  • Six (6) years to include experience managing heterogeneous, diverse client/server distributed enterprise network and server environments, other related projects, and management of information technology personnel.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage disparate projects while maintaining high levels of support of existing systems.
  • Knowledge of current Microsoft Windows operating systems and associated hardware/software capabilities and limitations
  • Knowledge of server management practices and switched Ethernet networks, topologies, and protocols (TCP/IP).
  • Knowledge of telecommunications hardware and technology.
  • Ability to forecast hardware requirements or other analysis associated with the implementation of new information technology.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and outside contractors and consultants.
  • Excellent organization abilities, analytical skills and communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical Information to a non-technical audience.
  • Be self-motivated and seek opportunities for continuous process Improvement. Be a catalyst and a willing participant of organizational changes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment in a matrix organization, partnering well with employees, management, users, business areas, vendors, contractors and undertake duties and tasks as assigned without close supervision.

Role Description The Clinical Program Director of Brain and Behavior is responsible for ideating, designing, and developing innovative specialty clinical programs focused on Neurological and Behavioral Health Conditions.
