Role Description As a Franchise Business Consultant, you will partner with franchisees and their teams to improve performance across new and existing locations. This is a relationship-driven, high-accountability role that requires earning trust, gaining buy-in, and delivering on commitments—with minimal oversight. - Diagnose performance gaps using unit economics, KPIs, and operational observations. - Create, execute, and track action plans that produce measurable results. - Document key interactions, maintain accurate records, and deliver clear, timely reporting to franchisees and internal leaders. - Move quickly to remove obstacles during launch and beyond. Primary Responsibilities - Own business performance for an assigned territory: analyze unit economics and KPIs, identify gaps, and coach franchisees through regular 1:1 review to improve results while protecting brand standards. - Build strong franchisee relationships and gain buy-in for company initiatives through clear communication, influence, and follow-through. - Create, execute, and track action plans to resolve issues and remove barriers quickly; coordinate cross-functionally to drive completion and measurable outcomes. - Maintain disciplined documentation: log touchpoints, decisions, risks, and action-plan progress; keep territory records current and audit-ready. - Produce and deliver recurring performance reporting (KPIs, trends, and action-plan status) to franchisees, department leadership, and other stakeholders. - Support franchisee training and key operational rhythms (e.g., annual summit, team meetings, and all-hands calls). - Navigate multiple systems, champion new initiatives, lead or support additional projects assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred. - 2-5 years experience in franchise operations, multi-unit field support, leadership, or a similar performance consulting role. - 2-5 years sales experience with a strong grasp of sales process and execution. - Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills. - Data-driven: comfortable analyzing KPIs, building action plans, tracking progress, and producing clear written reporting. - Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills. - Proven ability to drive execution: set expectations, follow up, and hold self and others accountable for commitments. - Self-starter who works independently, prioritizes effectively, and acts quickly with limited supervision. - Curious, resilient, and adaptable; collaborates well across teams and embraces continuous improvement. Compensation The salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate on experience. This role is bonus-eligible and is based on company and individual performance; all bonuses are subject to board and CEO approval.
