Job Description

Workday Technical Architect

Guidehouse

• Provide leadership and oversight for Workday technical consultants across varying skill levels, including responsibility for forecasting and managing utilization metrics. • Drive internal initiatives and explore innovative delivery approaches to strengthen and expand Guidehouse’s Workday delivery capabilities. • Actively communicate with other practice leaders on overall project delivery and practice items. • Communicate technical challenges and solutions to internal and client teams. • Participate in an innovative, teaming culture to enabled constant innovation and improvement to process and assets. • Demonstrate leadership and consultative skills. • Have a passion for high customer satisfaction levels.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of SEVEN (7) years of experience implementing Workday or other ERP software for multiple organizations; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience implementing Workday or other ERP software for multiple organizations.
  • NO degree with a MINIMUM of ELEVEN (11) years of experience implementing Workday or other ERP software for multiple organizations.
  • Experience with the execution of at least THREE (3) Workday implementations
  • A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of work experience including integration development and / or modern integration technology experience (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware, etc.)
  • Prior managerial experience in leading and supporting a hybrid workforce
  • Current holder of a Workday Certification within one or more of the following specialties: Integrations, Data Conversion, Prism Analytics, Extend
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support prominent clients and sales opportunities

Role Description Core responsibilities focus your efforts as the technical lead for Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Solution implementations for customers across the Americas region. In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Warehouse Management space, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations. You will be the technical liaison across key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical/Business Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution. - Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies. - Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes. - Lead Technical and integration design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline. - Lead integration design with automation vendors. - Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state/support associates. - Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction. - Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps. - Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects. - Identify product issues, analyze root cause, provide workarounds and provide inputs to product team on problem areas. - Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years' experience working within Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management Systems either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers. - Experience in end to end WMS deployment from Blue printing/design to transition to support for varied customers/industries. - Additionally relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as HighJump, Manhattan or SAP is a plus. - Current or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center preferred. - Experience in integrating ERP/Host systems with Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management Systems. - Experience with using/testing APIs. - Experience in working with Native SaaS WMS solutions. Requirements - Strong technical analysis skills, Technical design, Integration with HOST/ERP systems, Integration with Automation systems, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required. - Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.
