Portfolio Manager – ETRM & Analytics

• System implementation: You will support the selection, configuration and rollout of our new ETRM system, ensuring that all trading processes (front-to-back) are fully represented. • Administration & optimization: You will act as the system's functional administrator, managing master data, curve configurations and interfaces. • Quantitative analysis with Python: You develop tools for price calculation, load forecasting and risk assessment. • Market analysis: You monitor the German power and gas markets (spot and forward) and derive strategies for portfolio management. • Interface to Sales: You translate complex market developments into tradable products for our sales units and support the pricing of structured contracts. • Commercial focus – maximize profit: As an integral part of the Front Office, you are commercially driven and always seek the best allocation of resources to maximize profit.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in economics, (business) mathematics, computer science, physics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Solid experience in European energy markets, with a focus on Germany (balancing energy, intraday, forward markets, guarantees of origin).
  • Confident in Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) and SQL.
  • Ideally, experience implementing or administering common ETRM systems (e.g., Belvis, Allegro, Endur, Brady, or similar).
  • You are a problem solver.
  • You can clearly communicate complex issues to Sales and remain calm during volatile market phases.
  • Business-fluent German and English.

Role Description This is a contractual role for 11 months. The DLS Case Manager provides case management for all types of leave of absence and disability life events. The DLS Case Manager is highly skilled in answering questions, understanding the employee’s situation, applying the appropriate benefits, responding to changing circumstances and needs, and paves the way for a connected and trusted case management experience. Case Managers are the single point of contact for an employee throughout an entire leave of absence or disability event.
