Role Description We are seeking an Engineering Manager (Data Warehouse Engineering) with at least seven (7) years of progressive experience in data engineering or data warehouse architecture, including technical leadership in complex, regulated environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Databricks and Azure, along with a strong foundation in DevSecOps, automation, and secure, scalable data platforms. - Hands-on architectural ownership and technical leadership at scale — not individual contributor-only experience. - Lead the architecture, engineering, and optimization of the firm’s data warehouse built on Databricks and Azure, enabling scalable analytics across the enterprise. - Mentor a team of data engineers, fostering an innovative, collaborative engineering culture that embraces automation, modern development practices, and emerging AI-driven solutions. - Directly architect and secure the enterprise data foundation that powers care delivery for vulnerable seniors. - Blend data architecture, DevSecOps automation, CI/CD rigor, and healthcare compliance expertise to scale a modern, secure data platform. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field. - Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse architecture. - At least three (3) years in a technical leadership position. - Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members. - Deep expertise in Databricks architecture including Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and MLflow. - Strong experience implementing complex data pipelines and transformations. - Hands-on experience architecting and deploying analytics and data infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.). - Proven experience implementing DevSecOps frameworks, secure data operations, and governance in regulated industries - healthcare experience strongly preferred. - Strong understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent technologies. - Experience integrating AI and machine learning capabilities to streamline data workflows and enhance analytical insights.
