Samsara
• Assist in financial planning and analysis by building and maintaining models for forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis for R&D functions. • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track company performance. • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and support decision-making processes. • Partner with R&D business partners to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements. • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by managing financial databases and reporting systems. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with financial statements and their analysis
- Experience in building automated Excel reports
- Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to financial challenges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work.
