IT Systems and Support Engineer
DataCamp
Role Description DataCamp runs a deliberately small IT team. We extend our capacity through automation and AI — not headcount. This role is the execution engine of that model: you will own day-to-day IT operations while actively using and improving the AI and automation layer that keeps a 220-person global company running. You will be the primary point of contact for internal IT support across all offices and time zones, own the onboarding and offboarding automation stack, maintain compliance evidence for ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and help evaluate and roll out new (AI) tools at DataCamp and support its company-wide Claude and MCP deployment. Qualifications - Technical skills — required on day one - Jamf Pro — device management, policy deployment, Jamf Connect, smart groups, MDM troubleshooting - Okta — user lifecycle, SSO, MFA - Google Workspace — admin console or GAM, domain config, shared drives, licence management - macOS — hands-on troubleshooting, endpoint security concepts, familiarity with Apple hardware - SaaS app lifecycle — provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews across a 400+ app estate - Ticketing systems — Siit, Jira Service Desk, or similar; strong queue hygiene discipline - AI fluency — genuinely required, not optional Requirements - Daily use of Claude or similar LLMs to draft documentation, debug automations, summarise tickets, and speed up research - Effective prompting — structuring context clearly, iterating on output, using AI as a genuine problem-solving partner - Experience with or Make.com, n8n, Zapier, or similar — building and maintaining automation flows, not just using them - Basic scripting fluency (shell, Python, or Google Apps Script) — enough to read, debug, and extend existing scripts Benefits - Exciting challenges: Face new technical challenges daily, keeping your work engaging and rewarding. - Competitive compensation: We offer a competitive salary with attractive benefits. - Flexibility: Benefit from flexible working hours because the future is flexible! - Continuous learning: Access a yearly learning budget for conferences & training to support your professional growth. - Global retreats: Participate in international company retreats, fostering a global team spirit. - Equipment: Yearly refreshment of your IT Equipment budget for your home working setup. - Amazing team: Collaborate with a truly exceptional team—seriously, we’re awesome!
