Ruby Systems Coordinator

• Technical management and leadership: • Act as a bridge between Product, QA, SRE, Development teams and stakeholders. • Translate stakeholder needs into clear, prioritized tasks for the development team. • Mediate and make strategic decisions about software architecture and technical solutions. • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality. • Ensure releases are deployed to production reliably, conducting monitoring, validation and communication. • Planning and execution: • Gather requirements, estimate timelines and monitor delivery progress. • Ensure deadlines, quality standards and security processes are met. • Track and metricize all development stages, turning metrics into continuous improvement insights. • People management: • Hold regular 1:1 meetings for feedback and career development. • Create and follow Individual Development Plans (IDPs), focusing on both hard and soft skills. • Resolve conflicts and foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment. • Processes and integration: • Manage external requests and act as a mediator between the team and stakeholders. • Participate in hiring processes and lead onboarding and ramp-up of new team members.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in software development with Ruby on Rails and leadership in technical roles.
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, engineering best practices and scalable development.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, information security and software quality standards.
- Experience leading projects and making technical decisions.
- Proficiency in Ruby, Rails and API development.
- Experience with agile metrics and monitoring technical indicators.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
