Data Engineering Team Lead

Lingaro

• Recruiting and building the highly effective team. • Ensure high utilization for team members by timely staffing projects and other engagements. • Engages with Go-to-market and Account teams to understand customer requirements and expectations. • Regular checkpoints with team members. • Giving regular feedback and recognizing good performance. • Being a role model for the team; promoting integrity and processes. • Building team atmosphere and ensuring members well-being. • Developing and maintaining team operating rhythm. • Proactively participate in improving competency unit in Lingaro. • Helping team members to achieve high customer satisfaction on their tasks. • Collaborate with ADMs on offers effort estimation and costing. • Ensuring profitability on a team at and individual level. • Be able to work in at least one of the following roles: Data Engineering Tech Lead, Data Engineering Architect, Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Engagement Manager, Project Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
  • Experience in people management, customer management, project delivery.
  • Strong, proven knowledge and experience in the following fields: Data Engineering, Data Management.
  • High level of ownership.
  • Self-driven and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Working with stakeholders on different seniority and maturity level.
  • Very good communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in managing medium-sized projects.
  • Good understanding of business value of analytical solutions to Lingaro customers, the way Lingaro operates and which factors are important for customer satisfaction.
  • Deep understanding of the Customer’s business and how IT contributes to the delivery of service.
  • Ability to combine technical and business topics.
  • Very good client skills.
  • Understanding and proven experience working with AI tools and framework that speed up D&A delivery process (Claude code, GitHub Copilot etc.).
  • Presentation skills.
  • High ambition, motivation, and passion to achieve things that no one achieved before.
  • English at least B2 plus.

Role Description Woolpert is hiring a Geophysical Data Processing Specialist to our Geospatial Maritime Data Processing Team. This position is eligible for remote work, although the team supports most projects on the west coast on Pacific Time. Projects this team typically support include: - Private sector oil & gas - Offshore wind - Environmental remediation - Object detection - Cable route design - Utility detection - Pipeline crossings - Offshore platform and utility inspection surveys The data processing team supports the hydrographic and marine geophysical survey teams within the United States. Work travel and field work is not required. Work duties include data processing for our primary survey tools: - Magnetometer - Sub-bottom profiler - Side scan sonar - Multibeam Multisystem projects are typical; therefore, although the candidate should have a background processing geophysical data, the data processor will supplement with multibeam ~50% of the time to support all projects. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, environmental science, ocean engineering, geology, geography, geophysics, oceanography, spatial science, marine science or comparable field. Requirements - Minimum 2 years of experience processing marine geophysical and hydrographic data such as marine magnetometer, sub-bottom, side scan, and multibeam. - Skill sets would include a basic workflow: converting data, importing data, applying filters where needed, ferrous feature detection, sub-surface anomaly detection, and a general understanding of sub-surface horizon mapping. - Experience using geophysical data processing software such as SeaView, SonarWiz, Kingdom, or Oasis Montaj. - Experience using hydrographic data processing software such as QINSy, CARIS, EIVA, or Beamworks. Preferred Experience and Qualifications - A foundation in hydrographic and geophysical data collection is not mandatory but is preferred. - Experience using Global Mapper, ArcGIS, or AutoCad Civil3D. - Experience with 3D visualization. Benefits - Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. - Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000 USD.
