Regional Supply Planner

Role Description As a Job Regional Supply Planner, you’ll be part of our Demand Planning team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to: - Accountable for Supply Chain key metrics for assigned SBUs – i.e. inventory turns, fill rate, excess & obsolete inventory, etc. ensuring optimal customer service and corporate policy compliance for multiple countries. - Responsible for managing item planning parameters including but not limited to lead time, MOQ, safety stock, etc. - Owner of SKU management (+1,000 items) and rationalization including new product introductions, transitions and lifecycle management. - Act as main point of contact with vendors allowing them visibility of regional initiatives in order to ensure timely supply of products. - Run and manage the MPS, approving and optimizing the purchase plan and inventory projections for each country in the region, including the reallocation of goods when necessary. - Follow-up on purchase orders placed to suppliers to ensure on time availability at the countries. - Perform continuous maintenance of planning parameters and update as needed. - Act as the main point of contact with Regional Marketing, gathering information regarding new trends, seasonality, events management, product life cycle and others that might have an impact on the supply plan and adjust accordingly to avoid service failures. - Own and manage the planning systems and tools. - Align with Planning Manager & Country Manager in order to meet the inventory goals at the country level. - Effectively communicate with demand planners to ensure new initiatives and products are properly recorded and timely reflected in the supply plan in order to avoid disruptions. - Provide FOB prices from Vendors to support OP Plan process. - Track the vendor shipment performance (to develop a metric/report). Qualifications - Experience working with suppliers in Asia and US. Have worked for Latin America. - At least 5 years of experience in a consumer goods or similar industry, having managed product portfolios of more than 1,000 SKUs in supply replenishment and purchasing planning roles. - Inventory management. - Purchases. - IBP Process. - Deep knowledge of Supply / Manufacturing planning (MPS, MRP, CRP). - P&L Knowledge desired. Requirements - Technical Knowledge Required: - Supply Chain Management. - S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning). - Imports & Exports Processes. - Inventory and Service Levels KPIs. - JDA / SAP IBP or similar planning systems. - Technical Knowledge Desired: - Production and Fulfillment Processes. - APICS CPIM. - Six Sigma. - Systems: - Advanced Excel – (Macros desirable). - ERP: SAP. - Planning: JDA or Manugistics, SAP APO. - Business Intelligence: BW or Business Objects, PBI, QlikView. Role Description The International Logistics & Warehousing POD Leader is responsible for managing over $100M in international freight spend across all nine Ingersoll Rand business units globally. This role involves: - Full ownership of international freight spend, including contract warehousing, Ocean FCL/LCL, heavyweight air, forwarding, drayage, and customs brokerage. - Design and execution of a multi-year International Logistics category strategy aligned with the company's $250M freight transformation roadmap. - Conducting annual and strategic RFQs to drive spend under contract and eliminate uncontracted quoting environments. - Overseeing customs brokerage strategy and compliance across all trade lanes, including tariff intelligence and duty exposure modeling. - External rate benchmarking to validate incumbent proposals and sharpen commercial strategy. - Managing the International Logistics & Contract warehousing balanced scorecard, focusing on Service, Quality, Delivery, and Cost/Productivity. - Leading 3PL strategy and governance, including network design input and contract negotiations. - Owning contract warehousing strategy and oversight, including footprint rationalization and cost optimization. - Responding to cross-border lane disruptions and planning contingencies. - Contributing to enterprise KPIs, including OTD baselines and AI-assisted spend visibility.
