Senior Data Engineer

Nextech Systems

• Help with optimization, support, and deployment of cloud-based data systems • Build secure, scalable, and compliant database solutions using Azure SQL Server and other cloud-native technologies • Support the evolution of analytics lakehouse and its data sources • Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other regulations

Job Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL in production environments, ideally within healthcare or regulated industries
  • Deep understanding of cloud database architecture, PaaS vs IaaS, and hybrid cloud models
  • Expert command of T-SQL, PowerShell, as well as Python or C# for automation and scripting
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
  • Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare data standards is a plus
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, compliance, and clinical teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
