Role Description The Automotive Field Implementation Advisor will be responsible for guiding automotive dealerships through the onboarding and implementation process of an industry leading digital retail platform. This includes: - Training dealership stakeholders - Configuring the platform to meet dealership needs - Ensuring all pre-launch activities are completed - Supporting OEM stakeholders The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and knowledgeable about automotive retail operations and digital tools. Responsibilities and Duties - Dealer Process Mapping: Collaborate with dealership teams to understand their current sales workflows and configure the DRP to align with and optimize these workflows for a more seamless digital retail experience. - Pre-Launch Coordination: Manage all pre-launch activities, ensuring that all necessary configurations, data migrations, and system integrations are completed prior to going live. Communicate regularly with dealership leadership to ensure readiness for launch. - Training Delivery: Provide in-depth, role-based training for dealership staff, including sales, finance, and management teams. Ensure that users are confident in their ability to navigate and utilize the DRP effectively post-launch. - Customization & Optimization: Continuously gather dealership feedback during and after implementation to adjust the configuration and optimize the DRP to better support their business goals. - Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealership personnel, acting as a trusted advisor for all matters related to the platform’s implementation and use. - Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks and duties as required to support and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Location and Travel - This is a fully remote position. - Candidates must reside in MI, TX, or FL. - Must live within driving distance of a major airport and be willing to travel up to 50%. Qualifications - Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations, including sales workflows, CRM systems, and digital retail tools. - Experience configuring or implementing software platforms, especially in the automotive space. - Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple dealership implementations simultaneously. - Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in completing tasks with minimal supervision or direction from leadership. - Self-motivated and proactive in managing responsibilities and solving problems independently. - Strong decision-making skills with the capacity to prioritize and complete work efficiently in a dynamic environment without constant oversight. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective training and support. - Tech-savvy, with a quick ability to learn, configure, and explain complex software solutions. - Ability to problem-solve and customize solutions based on dealership needs. Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree required. - Minimum 7 years work experience in product management, software implementation, sales, account management, project management, technology solutions management, or a related client-focused professional industry. - Minimum 1 year of automotive retail experience preferred.

What We’re Looking For The Implementation Manager is responsible for leading customers through the process of implementing VPL’s software and services. This includes acting as the liaison between Sales, Account Management, Finance, Product, the customer, and their third-party vendors. The individual filling this role must be able to demonstrate strong project management and customer relationship management skills as you will be responsible for providing excellent customer experiences. You will be expected to collaborate with stakeholders across departments and from all levels of the customer and VPL organizations to collect data, documentation, and specifications to ensure each implementation is tailored to the specific needs of the customer. This will require knowledge of how VPL’s services and solutions can be customized and consulting with the customer to configure and launch a program that helps them achieve their business objectives.
