• Drive new business development across US-based biotech and pharma clients • Identify, pursue, and close opportunities for custom development and commercial manufacturing projects • Build and execute territory and account plans to grow revenue and pipeline • Develop strong client relationships and act as a strategic partner and advisor • Lead client interactions including presentations, site visits, and negotiations • Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Project Management, Operations, and Finance teams • Manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, including CRM tracking and forecasting • Represent PolyPeptide at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in pharma, biotech, or CDMO/CRO environment
- Exposure to commercial or client-facing roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of proven success in CDMO/CRO or life sciences business development
- Strong track record of closing complex deals and managing key accounts
- Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle and outsourcing strategies
- Strong consultative sales approach and ability to navigate complex organizations
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- Highly driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization
- Willingness to travel (~50%) to meet clients and grow your network

Role Description This role puts you at the heart of our global growth strategy. You’ll lead business development across regions, helping us bring smarter, safer thermal solutions to OEMs and Tier 1s. It’s commercial, collaborative, and full of opportunity to make a meaningful impact - not just for our customers, but for the wider world. You’ll lead global business development for our automotive customers, with a focus on EV and ICE applications. That means spotting opportunities, shaping strategy, and working closely with regional teams to turn plans into results. You’ll also be the one making sure we’re in the right conversations, with the right people, at the right time.
