We're looking for a Smart Contract Legal Architect to translate complex likeness and IP frameworks into Solidity and define the next generation of on-chain rights enforcement. What You'll Do: Work cross-functionally with celebrity estates and digital rights attorneys Define the legal ontology for on-chain rights compliance Encode enforceable IP agreements in Solidity Stay ahead of decentralized arbitration mechanisms Preferred Qualifications:

• Serve as the sole in-house legal advisor for Laticrete International and its affiliates, reporting directly to the CFO • Oversee the company’s legal affairs • Manage external counsel, and provide strategic legal guidance on corporate, regulatory, and operational matters • Work closely with senior leadership to support the company's growth while managing risk and ensuring legal compliance • Demonstrate leadership and entrepreneurial spirit • Interact and collaborate with US and International teams • Recognize the specificities of the culture and legal systems of the many countries where LATICRETE is operating • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks affecting the business • Manage all litigation, claims, investigations, and dispute resolution matters worldwide • Develop litigation strategy, settlement approaches, and risk assessments in coordination with senior leadership • Oversee insurance programs, claims management, and coverage matters in partnership with Finance and Risk • Draft and review contracts and licenses with customers, suppliers, and business partners • Advise HR and management on employment law matters • Oversee protection, development, and enforcement of the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

• Own an 80+ case pre-litigation docket with systematic efficiency. • Strategic demand packages that generate fast responses. • Settlement negotiations that consistently meet or exceed valuation standards. • Monthly performance metrics that directly impact firm profitability.

• Own the full legal function—regulatory, product, advertising, commercial contracts, IP, employment, corporate, and disputes. • Build practical frameworks for compliance and decision-making. • Lead FDA and FTC-related marketing and product guidance. • Negotiate key commercial and partnership agreements. • Oversee IP strategy and support people operations. • Establish lightweight legal processes and explore responsible use of AI to improve contracting, reviews, and internal enablement.
