Position Purpose: - Manages the team members accountable for designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise software solutions. - Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise. - Serves in a team leadership capacity with large-scale Application Development projects/programs. - Leads the build-out or expansion of coding standards initiatives. - Reports application progress and outcomes. - Provides coaching and career development planning to junior Application Developers. - Coordinates the work of 3rd party Development teams, holds 3rd party vendors accountable to our standards, policies, and performance expectations. - Identifies and evaluates risks and participates in mitigation and control activities. - Provides continuity with Application and Infrastructure Management operational groups during service transition. - Partners with Security and SRE teams, makes sure all security and change management policies are followed. - Assists in the design and development of proof of concept and prototype application environments. - Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance/salary reviews, and provides leadership, technical guidance, and coaching to Developers executing all aspects of applications development. - Leads teams of Developers to help ensure the stable operation of application development activities. - Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of application development industry, business issues, and best practices; evaluates implications to IT. - Develops and communicates departmental objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results. - Holds teams accountable to meet functional, quality, and timeline objectives. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Complies with all policies and standards. • Design, build, and improve machine learning systems that power safety across personalization surfaces such as recommendations, search, and emerging AI experiences • Contribute to the platformization of safety systems, enabling scalable and reusable solutions across teams • Develop and operate high-throughput, low-latency backend services powered by ML models • Partner with Product, Trust & Safety, and Content Platform to translate safety needs into practical technical solutions • Work on both traditional ML models and generative AI systems, including integrating third-party and in-house foundational models • Contribute to evaluation frameworks, including labeling strategies, ground truth creation, and model validation approaches • Collaborate with foundational model teams to embed safety into LLM-based and agent-driven experiences • Use metrics and experimentation to continuously improve system performance, safety outcomes, and user experience

Role Description A Clinical Development Specialist will work with Quest Medical and Laboratory Directors and their staff, Clinical Development management and staff, external scientific and clinical administrative staff and external vendors to support S & I clinical development research efforts. - Oversight of all operational aspects of clinical studies including: - Clinical study initiation activities - Site selection and training efforts - Study documentation - Study site monitoring - Query resolution - Data monitoring and data flow - Flow of specimens between sites - Study site payment activities - Study close down This person will report to Clinical Development Management. This professional can work in a remote capacity and must be located in the US.
