Senior Software Engineer
Antenna Group
• Own, maintain, and improve scalable data pipelines that empower Antenna’s recently launched Subscriber Views product. Proactively identify failures, troubleshoot root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence • Develop a deep understanding of Antenna's core data models in order to collaborate effectively with Data Operations and Data Science • Partner with the Data Science and Data Operations teams to maintain datasets that teams trust, understand, and use for self-service • Collaborate with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders to gather and define requirements • Document, simplify, and explain complex problems to diverse audiences • Establish best practices to develop specialized datasets for analytics and modeling
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in software engineering, and 3+ years on data infrastructure or platform engineering
- You build data pipelines with tools like Spark or dbt, manage data in a major cloud warehouse like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks, and orchestrate workflows with tools like Dagster or Airflow
- You write expert SQL and program proficiently in at least one general-purpose language like Python to build pipelines, custom integrations, automation scripts, and web services
- You independently navigate complex, unfamiliar systems to identify and fix difficult bugs
- You communicate proactively, consistently, and effectively with cross-functional teammates and stakeholders
- You are a self-starter who can carry multiple initiatives, prioritize time and resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- You are a champion of using automation tools and AI-driven solutions to streamline data workflows and elevate data product reliability
- Bonus: You design backend web services, manage cloud resources with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Pulumi, and design maintainable systems to solve challenging customer problems
