Channel Account Manager – SMB
ASUS
• Works cross-functionally with ASUS Commercial Sales Management, Distribution, Product Management, and Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for ASUS products and services within the assigned scope. • Proactively identifies and develops sales opportunities within CDW and other assigned APP team accounts. • Builds and expands ASUS relationships and engagement across all levels of the assigned account base. • Develops and executes a business plan focused on driving unit and revenue growth, with performance measured against defined targets for the assigned accounts. • Maintains multiple active contacts within a large customer base, providing routine communication on ASUS and its products, programs, offers, and promotions. • Travels as needed to assigned account HQ and satellite locations to lead PPM presentations and support onsite customer engagements. • Partners with reseller account teams to drive face-to-face trainings and meetings that expand ASUS business. • Supports assigned accounts at regional events and focused trade shows as required. • Supports weekly, monthly, and quarterly business tracking, including consistent use of internal reporting tools and development of tracking as directed. • Actively participates in internal and external business reviews and communications to ensure visibility, alignment, and follow-through on both short-term opportunities and long-term pipeline development within the assigned APP channel. • Analyzes and develops end-customer demand across private-sector verticals, identifying new opportunities to expand ASUS’s commercial presence within the assigned accounts.
Job Requirements
- 5 + years of outside sales experience in IT hardware, software, or services.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Named-account experience and working knowledge of the commercial PC/client business.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Solid understanding of indirect (channel) commercial sales motions and customer acquisition processes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across a wide range of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new product portfolios and clearly articulate solution value and differentiation.
- Proven ability to influence at all levels, both externally with customers and internally within ASUS.
- Knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscapes, customer buying behaviors, and marketing techniques.
- Experience building strategic partnerships across internal and external organizations.
- Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-direct, and operate effectively in a remote environment.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams).
