Role Description The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for selling and achieving sales budgets for the specified Accounts assigned to them comprised of the top US MI Customers in a geographical assigned area. Additionally, they will focus on driving growth in sales and profitability, developing and maintaining franchise dealers for all proprietary, exclusive and distributed brands and developing superior customer relationships with dealers within the assigned account list. The ability to develop and coordinate all of the sales activities, consumer promotions, events, clinics and sales initiatives to ensure that the sales objectives of the corporation are achieved and exceeded within the territory is a must. The proper candidate must exhibit the proper computer skills, likability, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The KAM must be able to work in tandem with our Customer Service Team to properly service the customer. Daily communication of strategy and responsibilities is a must. Superior organization skills and ability to work in our internal systems and CRM like Zoho to manage the Region. Responsibilities - Primarily responsible for the sales and channel marketing of our products - Identify new brand, new product and new SKU growth opportunities by dealer to grow the regional sales performance - Responsible for in-store merchandising, sales training, and promotional support - Providing product build information to launch new products with our dealers - Evaluating our dealer’s online presentation of our products and working with them to enhance them - Planning, targeting, itineraries, call reports as required to travel and report on account activity - Attending and participating in sales meetings - Assisting in gathering market intelligence - Assisting clinicians and other duties as needed - Air travel necessary for some functions Qualifications - Sales experience of 3 to 5 years preferably in the MI Industry - Strong understanding of Musical Instruments and the MI Retail business (existing dealer relationships preferred) - Experience in forecasting and budgeting to reach sales goals - Excellent working skills with Microsoft Office - Knowledge and use of advanced selling skills, including consultative selling and use of relationship selling, and executive selling - Demonstrates executive selling skills, including ability to gain access to key decision-makers - Ability to negotiate and close the sale in a minimum amount of time - Effective analysis of a sales territory, establishment of sales and profit growth objectives, and detailed planning to accomplish the objectives - Understands, believes in, and uses sales call planning, including written pre-call plans and sales call calendars - Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and to make recommendations and decisions that are supported by the data and managed through “Deal Pipeline” in Zoho - Ability to use marketing campaigns to execute sales campaign assignments to guide dealers through the deal funnel - Knowledge and use of large account sales management and relationship cultivation practices - General working knowledge of financial and inventory management issues - Superior teamwork skills - Excellent written & verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously - Conflict management / composure - Planning & organizing - Initiative & follow-up - Judgment / problem solving Benefits - Group Insurance Benefits: Health & Dental, Vision, Life, Critical Illness, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability - Wellness Incentive Program and an Employee Assistance Program - 401k matching program - Work-life balance is key: Flextime, summer hours, paid vacation, personal time off - We value work-life balance and offer a casual and fun environment - Lively social calendar…there's always something for everyone! - Generous employee discount on all our cool gear - On-going learning opportunities - Opportunity to work in a highly talented, winning team
