Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager
ORS Consulting (ORS)
• Lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical building services activities across multiple projects • Manage the delivery of M&E packages from design through construction, commissioning, and handover • Maintain strong program control and monitor project progress against key milestones • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, contractors, and specialist consultants • Carry out site inspections and oversee installation quality, safety, and compliance standards • Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation • Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery • Identify and resolve technical, coordination, and program-related issues • Support procurement activities, contractor management, and commercial reporting where required • Contribute leadership, technical expertise, and mentoring support within the wider project team
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical building services
- Proven experience delivering M&E-led projects within commercial, residential, healthcare, or similar sectors
- Significant on-site experience with strong knowledge of construction and installation processes
- Experience managing project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and multidisciplinary teams
- Chartered Engineer status or progression toward chartership (Desirable)
- PMP or similar qualification (Desirable)
- Experience delivering large-scale or technically complex developments (Desirable)
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and digital project delivery tools (Desirable)
- Leadership or commercial management experience (Desirable)
- Experience working in live operational environments (Desirable)
