Joining a new Argentina team, you will own the end-to-end delivery of content, ensuring every frame is conversion-focused and brand-aligned. What You’ll Do: - End-to-End Delivery: Take briefs from storyboarding to final render, handling both static design in Figma and animation in After Effects or Jitter. - AI-Assisted Creativity: Incorporate Generative AI tools like Weavy, Freepik, and Replicate into your workflow to iterate faster and push visual boundaries. - Template Creation: Build and maintain design templates to help the team scale production without losing quality. - Multimedia Support: Act as a point of contact for technical questions regarding video formats and digital specs. - Collaboration: Work closely with the local and global creative teams to ensure brand integrity. Qualifications - 2-3 Years experience in an agency or fast-paced studio environment. - Strong working knowledge of After Effects, Figma, and Jitter, with a solid grasp of the wider Adobe suite. - A portfolio that demonstrates 'hybrid' talent—showing you can design beautiful static assets and then animate them fluidly. - Any 3D or Cavalry experience is a bonus! - Experience (or high interest) in leveraging AI tools to optimize creative production. - English proficiency for collaboration with the global DEPT® team. As the Lead Motion Designer, you are the people leader and creative engine of the Argentina Motion Team. You are accountable for the department's output and the successful management of your team. You ensure our culture and quality remain uncompromised as we scale, acting as a bridge between the local talent and the global DEPT®/Studios team. What You’ll Do - People Management: Lead, manage, and inspire the motion design team; responsible for performance reviews, resource allocation, and team satisfaction. - Strategic Oversight: Oversee all design output, ensuring the team meets the highest standards for our clients. - Art Direction: Collaborate with creative leadership to set the visual tone and motion language for major campaigns. - AI Strategy: Lead the adoption of Generative AI (e.g., Weavy, Freepik, Replicate) at a departmental level to find production efficiencies and stay ahead of industry trends. - Pitching: Support the creative process by pitching ideas and concepts to mid-level client stakeholders and internal leads. - Workflow: Refine the intersection of Figma, After Effects, and Jitter to ensure the team is set up for success and on-time delivery. - Culture & Values: Advocate for DEPT® values, fostering an inclusive, high-performing, and social environment. • Design, coordinate, and submit Fire Protection drawings, hydraulic calculations, seismic brace calculations, and material/equipment schedules. Stock list projects for fabrication and approve fabrication quotes. • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and insurance requirements as well as all fire and building code requirements. • Provide updates to purchasing as installation schedule or change orders require modifications to meet installation schedule and deadlines and other requirements such the Buy American Act. • Produce shop list utilizing computer software for fabrication of system piping. • Integrate other mechanical systems to ensure successful coordination with the fire suppression system and must be able to recognize potential conflicts with other trades. • Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
