WordPress Developer
Remote World
Role Description You'll build new WordPress sites from designs, maintain and update existing client sites, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. You'll work from Figma designs, liaise with project managers on timelines, and be the person clients rely on when something breaks. - Build WordPress sites from Figma designs using Elementor or custom themes - Develop and customise plugins and shortcodes as needed - Maintain client sites — updates, backups, security patches - Debug performance and layout issues across browsers and devices - Communicate progress and blockers clearly to project managers Qualifications - Solid WordPress development experience — themes, plugins, custom code - Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and PHP - Experience converting designs to pixel-accurate builds - Reliable and communicative — clients need to know their sites are in safe hands Requirements - Experience with WooCommerce (nice to have) - Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.) (nice to have) - Basic SEO knowledge (Yoast, site speed optimisation) (nice to have) Benefits - $700–$1,000 USD/month - Fully remote with flexible hours - Steady project pipeline - 20 days leave - Training budget for new tools and frameworks
