Senior Solutions Engineer

Acquia

• Develop a deep knowledge of Acquia’s products, solutions, and value propositions. • Gather customer business needs to tailor the right solution with Acquia products to help the customer succeed. • Create solution proposals, presentations, and other customer communications. • Research, scope, and estimate Drupal solutions for enterprise-grade applications. • Combat competitive threats in accounts and educate potential customers on Acquia’s key values and benefits. • Facilitate a smooth transition from sales to delivery by orienting the appropriate teams to the solution design. • Lead or participate in customer-facing meetings and maintain excellent relationships with partners and prospects. • Engage with the product team to drive customer requests and influence the product roadmap.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. or similar technical degree, with a strong preference for Computer Science, IT, or Information Services.
  • 5-9 years of working experience in a customer-facing role; previous experience in sales or a pre-sales environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience at a SaaS company, or familiarity with Drupal and cloud architectures.
  • Passion for the web and open-source development.
