The Crown Is Yours As a Data Engineer, you'll support the development and reliability of business-critical reports and dashboards that power decision-making across DraftKings. You'll work closely with teammates across the Data Engineering, Analytics, TPM, QA and Ops teams to create, maintain, and improve scalable BI solutions. Whether it's automating workflows, refining reporting logic, or supporting on-call operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring our BI ecosystem remains accurate, efficient, and user-friendly. This is an ideal role for someone early in their data career who's excited to solve real business problems through data. What you'll do as a Data Engineer - Build and maintain reports and dashboards that support day-to-day decision-making across the business - Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of BI services and dashboards - Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, QA and Ops teams to ensure reporting consistency, documentation, and data quality - Identify and implement opportunities to automate reports, reduce manual work, and improve speed to insight - Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies in coordination with engineering partners - Support our data governance and data quality standards within the BI environment - Enhance reporting workflows and performance through continuous process improvement - Translate stakeholder needs into scalable BI solutions using modern reporting tools What you'll bring - At least 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, analytics, or reporting - Proficiency with reporting or BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI - Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake - Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of data structures used in reporting - Interest in automation, scripting, and workflow tools to improve reporting efficiency - Comfort supporting business-critical reporting needs as part of an on-call rotation - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and communication skills - Curiosity about modern data technologies and AI tools to improve BI infrastructure - Fluency in English #LI-GS1 #LI-REMOTE Join Our Team We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston.
