Role Description Enterprise Discovery customers increasingly require hands-on customisation beyond standard product configuration. The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is a dedicated, customer-embedded engineering role designed to own the full spectrum of technical customisation for our top-tier accounts. You will bridge the gap between post-sales support and core product engineering, serving as a technical "special forces" operative who translates complex business requirements into tangible code and system optimisations. Key Responsibilities - Account Ownership: Maintain ongoing technical ownership of 2–3 high-value enterprise accounts; this is not a rotational assignment. - Technical Implementation: Build and deploy conversational agents, custom extensions, and algorithmic tweaks to solve specific business problems. - Data-Driven Validation: Use A/B testing and deep data analysis to validate the impact of technical changes on customer KPIs. - On-Site Collaboration: Travel to customer sites (EMEA/AMER) to lead technical workshops and deeply understand their architectural constraints. - Feedback Loop: Act as a critical bridge to R&D, identifying recurring customization needs that should be productized in the core platform. • Work with project team to understand the migration activities, prepare the migration strategy and migration plan. • Review and build migration templates and train the business user to fill the data in the templates. • Assist the business team in extracting master and transaction data, preparing upload files, and ensuring all required data is accurately captured for a successful data migration. • Drive functional and technical discussions with client project teams during discovery and design workshops. • Establish strong credibility and trusted-advisor relationships with client stakeholders at all levels. • Reviewing Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), High-Level Solution Designs, and Detailed Design Documents. • Provide data migration guidance and oversee quality across one or multiple projects. • Leverage technical understanding and debugging knowledge to support issue resolution and complex integrations. • Collaborate effectively with distributed and remote teams across different geographies. • Research, analyze, and resolve complex issues under tight timelines and project pressures.

• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, data migration, and go-live support. • Drive and support core O2C processes in SAP SD such as order management, pricing, billing, delivery, and invoicing. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions. • Lead and support integration between SAP S/4HANA and commerce platforms. • Collaborate with technical and integration teams to ensure smooth data flow between commerce systems and SAP. • Conduct functional design workshops and contribute to functional specifications (FS) and solution documentation. • Support issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution across O2C and integration scenarios. • Ensure alignment with best practices in SAP SD and commerce integration. • Work effectively with cross-functional teams including FI, logistics, and external system stakeholders.
