Senior Technical Trainer & Learning Systems Manager

Role Description Rancher Government Solutions (RGS) is seeking a high-impact "Integrator" and Program Owner to serve as our Senior Technical Trainer & Learning Systems Manager. In this role, you will be the architect of the RGS "Mission-Ready" Training & Enablement ecosystem, building the RGS Academy from the ground up. You will oversee the strategic administration of a multi-platform environment, including LearnWorlds, Udemy Business, and Instruqt, to drive internal professional development and external customer adoption. You will act as both the educational visionary and the operational coordinator ensuring that all training programs are scheduled, tracked, and optimized for a highly cleared, technical workforce. Duties and Responsibilities - Platform Ecosystem & Budget Management: Full ownership of the RGS training stack (LearnWorlds, Udemy, Instruqt). Manage the training budget, including license seat allocation, facility requirements, and vendor relationships. - Program Coordination & Scheduling: Create and maintain training schedules across all departments. Collaborate with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to track and facilitate customer-facing training. - GTM & Revenue Operations: Partner with the Growth team to implement "Route to Market" features, including shopping cart configurations (Credit Card/P-Card), SKU strategies, and Purchase Order (PO) synchronization. - Internal Marketing & Enablement: Actively market training opportunities to employees to encourage "upskilling." Consult with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and VPs to identify skills gaps and develop unique courses to address them. - New Hire Onboarding: Design and deliver the "Operational Readiness" path for new hires, ensuring they understand company policies, security protocols, and the RGS product lifecycle from Day 1. - RGS Certification & Scaling: Design and manage official RGS Certification tiers for Customers, Partners, and Employees. Recruit, delegate to, and evaluate the performance of subject matter experts (SMEs) acting as guest trainers. - Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous training records to ensure "Audit-Ready" status for CMMC and NISP compliance. Ensure all proprietary content meets ITAR/EAR/FOCI requirements and implement continuous improvements based on participant feedback. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - The "Ability to Learn" Mandate: Demonstrated ability to rapidly master complex technical software environments (Kubernetes, Cloud-Native, or DevSecOps) and translate them into educational content. - Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or program coordination, preferably with a focus on Linux-based environments. - GovCon Context: Proven experience working within (or training for) a high-security or regulated environment (Federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community). - System Knowledge: Hands-on experience administering at least one Enterprise-grade Learning Management System (LMS). - Kubernetes Fluency: Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem (Kubernetes, RKE2, K3s) to translate technical specifications into viable learning paths. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or educational field (or equivalent practical experience). Preferred Qualifications - Advanced Education: MS or M.Ed. in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology. - Direct Platform Experience: Hands-on experience specifically with LearnWorlds and/or Instruqt. - Certifications: CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or technical certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKS, or Security+. - Strategic Vision: Proven ability to execute a multi-phase roadmap moving from "Internal Setup" to a "Revenue-Generating External Academy." - Organizational Excellence: Ability to manage complex schedules and maintain audit-compliant records for FSO/Compliance reviews.
