Role Description We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing strategies. What you will be doing (Shift Time & Key Roles and Responsibilities): - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases. - Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing. - Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables. - Ensure test coverage by analyzing business and technical requirements. - Work on API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. - Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks. - Perform database testing using SQL queries. - Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Qualifications - 1 to 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, or similar frameworks. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured). - Hands-on in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.). - Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - ISTQB or equivalent testing certification. - Experience with cloud-based testing tools (AWS, Azure).
