THE WORK Dynamic Components Quality seeks a highly motivated individual for a position reporting to the Dynamics Quality Manager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Dynamics Inspection Team specifically around the CH-53K program. You will work individually and collaboratively with inspection leadership, manufacturing, and engineering teams to remove barriers and improve inspection processes to keep parts moving and meet increased throughput demands. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Initiate, review, analyze and report on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyze data using statistical techniques. - Interface as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives. - Help drive process improvements and cost savings utilizing a continuous improvement mentality. - Liaison with design engineering regarding CH-53K drawing interpretation and other inquiries from inspectors and function as the Quality POC for any resulting Engineering Changes. - Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement - Support the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS and RMS Sikorsky business objectives.
