🎬 Video Editor Job Type: Remote, Full-Time About the Role We’re looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can produce both long-form and short-form content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is not only skilled in traditional editing but also comfortable leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance creativity, and increase output. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, content, and creative teams to bring engaging stories to life—whether it’s a 10-minute YouTube video or a 30-second short-form clip. Key Responsibilities - Edit high-quality long-form videos (YouTube, webinars, interviews, podcasts) - Create engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn - Utilize AI tools to speed up editing workflows (e.g., auto-captioning, cutting, enhancement) - Enhance videos with motion graphics, sound design, color correction, and visual effects - Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form assets - Maintain brand consistency across all video outputs - Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Stay updated with video trends, platform algorithms, and emerging AI tools
Job Requirements
- +2 years of experience as a video editor
- Strong proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Experience with AI-powered editing tools (e.g., Descript, Runway, CapCut, Adobe AI features)
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
- Familiarity with social media content formats and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setup
- Nice to Have
- Motion graphics and animation skills
- Experience editing for DTC brands, creators, or e-commerce
- Basic knowledge of sound design and color grading
- Familiarity with analytics and performance-driven content
